  Late. Shri Anantrao S. Sawant,a visionary and founding father of ‘Anant Group’ was the first generation entrepreneur. The eldest son of a farmer, born in small village called Digavale from Sindhudurg. In the year 1962 at the age of 15 years he moved to Mumbai with just one rupee in his pocket and big dreams in his eyes. He knew this is the city where dreams do come alive if one is determined and ready to work hard. After doing lot of small jobs and finishing his matriculation from a night school, he started his first venture of Brick Kiln with his couple of friends. It not only gave him good experience of doing a business but also brought him in contact with lot of material suppliers. Which helped in laying down foundation for his dream of getting into construction field.

  In the year 1975, he started his first construction foray by building row houses, chawls etc. This gave him immense exposure and experience to go ahead and start his first partnership firm called Surya Builders and his first residential project Surya Kiran at Kandivali West.

  This was just the beginning of a new era. After successful completion of his first project there was no looking back. And today “Anant Group” has finished numerous projects and brought happiness to lot of families.

  He was a man who believed that to make profits one should not let others lose money. He believed in leading with example and that’s why always said that if you don’t do it yourself, you want get the results you want. His philosophy and outlook towards life were as simple as the man he was. His humble background and not able to get enough education due to circumstances and responsibilities made him always support education for children who can’t afford. He constructed a school for kids in his own village, set up various scholarships in different schools. He encouraged children to participate in sports and extra curricular activities.

• Shri Yogesh Anantrao Sawant, the current chairman and man behind the evolution of Anant Group is visionary and perfectionist. With more than 25 years of business experience he is the driving force behind the growth of the group. Driven by the entrepreneurial spirit at an early age of 15 years he started working with is father while still continuing his studies. A civil engineer who learnt the ropes of the business under the watchful eyes of his father and got business ethics, commitment and vision as a legacy from him.

  An idealist and a true entrepreneur at heart, he has carved a niche in the real estate industry spreading happiness to the customers with quality projects. He takes keen interest in every aspect of the business and provides that personal touch to each and every project. Under his leadership the group has grown in leaps and bounds and completed numerous projects successfully. A father figure to the entire organization.

• Shri Chandrasen Anantrao Sawant, The young and dynamic Managing Director of the group has more than 15 years of business experience and an engineering degree. He is the reason behind numerous successful projects completing before or on time. His exposure to the outside world before joining Anant Group, working on various projects abroad has helped him hone his skills and add to his technical expertise.

  He has been involved with the entire spectrum of business activities ranging from planning, procurement, execution, marketing, branding, streamlining internal systems and processes etc. He shares the same vision as his elder brother to make Anant Group a name to reckon with in the real estate segment. He is devoted to building an organization, which is based on Quality, Commitment and Trust.
